# BYAS

BYAS is Balanced Yield Autonomous Savings. We are a decentralized savings network focused on building a peer-to-peer bank. All holders own a piece of the network and earn fees on every transaction

The current yield generating system where trillions of dollars is invested all over the world, especially pensions, is all based on fake money. Reserves around the world simply print money to give people interest. Most governments have no business. If they did those businesses would not be profitable. There is a major deficit between what taxpayers pay and what the governments spend. To make up that deficit the organization responsible for the monetary supply in the country simply prints money. If you're willing to not spend some of that printed money then they will give you more...of that printed money. CDs bonds and long terms savings accounts are guarantees from you that you won't spend this money. These organizations then take that money, the same money that they printed, and try to find yield in the market. When they can't find that yield they simply print more money to give back to you. That is the current yield generating system around the world.&#x20;

If there is a recession they will print. If there is a war they will print. In good times they print. Their solution to everything is printing. And this in turn makes everything around you more expensive.&#x20;

BYAS is code not a company. Just like Bitcoin there is no CEO. There is no one to raise the debt ceiling. The idea is simple. Let's create a fair network that anyone can use. Every time someone uses that network all the people that own a piece of the network get a piece of every transaction. Even if it's just a tiny piece. Anybody. Anywhere. Maybe we should have called it Borderless Yield Autonomous Savings.&#x20;
